H. D. Smith has appointed Mike Gernigin as Corporate Vice President, Controller. An internal promotion, Gernigin will be responsible for the company’s accounting policies, systems and practices, internal and external financial reporting, internal financial controls, and tax compliance and planning. Overseeing the financial shared services department, he will also provide a wide variety of financial advice and counsel to senior management.
H. D. Smith has appointed Rob Meriweather as Vice President Sales. An internal promotion, Meriweather is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise sales strategy, gaining sales from strategic retail customers, and developing executive relationships with group purchasing organizations.

Dmitrey Kuznetsov was recently promoted to vice president, generic pharmaceuticals. In this new role Kuznetsov will be responsible for the generic pharmaceutical category to improve profits by driving a consistent and comprehensive strategy.
